Ruth Robins has been a spiritual counselor and teacher of Metapsychiatry since 1979. Working with clients in person and by telephone around the world, she encourages individuals to seek healing through spiritual understanding. Introduced to the work of Dr. Thomas Hora in graduate school at the Foundation for Religion and Mental Health Institute for Counseling and Therapy, Ruth also studied privately with Dr. Hora who supervised her counseling work. She continued advanced studies of Metapsychiatry with Dr. Hora for 17 years until his death in 1995. During that time she was a Research Associate of the former New York Institute of Metapsychiatry.
In addition to her counseling and teaching, Ruth facilitates the annual East Coast Conference for students of Metapsychiatry and manages the PAGL Foundation Bookstore.
